practice
supervisor development programme
This programme is designed for those who
are changing their role to support new legislation.
The delegates will be working with a
group who may currently be supervising and individuals about to take on the
role. The 2-day workshop will focus on identifying the inherent supervisory
skills that we all have, enhancing them to best effect.
The principles of first line management
skills are underpinned by working towards a better understanding of leadership,
negotiation, communication, time management and resource management. It also
explores what makes a person a good supervisor putting this in context with our
personality style and ego state. This approach aims to support the development
of each individual by building confidence in moving forward in this new role.
